US again asking UN to send peacekeepers into Iraq. First, they ignore UN and invade Iraq based on "valid" proof to justify their actions. Now, they can't find the WMD. And their soldiers are dying. Now, they are grovelling at the feet of UN to send in more troops to cover their ass. I say, let them handle Iraq. They started the mess. They should clear it up. If UN were to help the US by sending in troops, it will only make US more arrogant, and will be more than ready to defy UN in future actions. Because they know that they will still be able to boss the UN around.

US can go and spend the taxpayer's money and rebuild Iraq. You want the oil, you gotta pay for it, cowboy.
