The bombshell dropped on Thursday when they finally decided to terminate one of my coursemates. He was the one who had problems with the check. I'll have to say that he was really unlucky because there are others who also had problems, but he was the only one who got into trouble. I think he just became a victim of the people upstairs wanting to make a point.

So, naturally morale was quite low. The person who really felt bad was his good friend who had an unofficial responsibility of guiding him in his flying since he is really good. And the low morale atmosphere lingered on to Friday, especially when you see his empty seat.

But, like what our instructors advised us, life goes on.
