Been progressing at supersonic speed! Which explains why I have been neglecting this blog. It is not that things have been boring - although I beg to differ on certain days. Schedule is totally different from what it was in WA. Flights are half day events now. And yes, I am on the actual jet already. Although everything is exactly the same as it is on the simulator, it just feels different to be in the real thing.
Managed to catch two days off last week, which gave me to chance to go down to Brizzy and the Gold Coast. And I never knew there were so many Asians in Queensland. I guess we are just a rare species at the Sunshine Coast. Spent a day at Dreamworld, which was nothing compared to Disney World, but it wasn't all that bad either. All the rides drained my mind totally and I knocked out quite early that night. And it helped that I was sleeping on a really comfortable bed at the Holiday Inn. Staff rates rock.
After being here for 5 weeks, the SIM card that my sister was supposed to pass to me is finally here. It isn't activated yet, but it should be in a few minutes. Or so I have been told. And the phone account will expire at the end of this month. Fabulous.
I wonder how TwoDoorsUp is going about with the accomodations back in Singapore...
