New batch of juniors arrived on Wednesday. The huge group of 40 people. The mess hall and classrooms suddenly seem too small. I wonder how the administration is going to handle so many people. Out of the 40, I found out that one of them was from my secondary school back in Malaysia, another was from NJC, and another guy was from NUS. Talk about a small world. Anyway, Singapore is small.

The PS2 at my place is now the local favourite entertainment outlet. Nothing beats an hour of Winning 11 after dinner just before getting ready to hit the books. And I'm slowly getting good at it too. Have to reach HoweYang's standard before I can declare myself a Winning 11 deity.

Watched Singapore Idol this week, and surprisingly Christopher sang better than normal. And what's wrong with Singapore? How the heck did Slyvester and Maia end up in the bottom 2? Sigh, that's the problem with a population that is too small... the votings are easily swayed by "friends". Too small sample size, see. Hmmm... statistics does have its uses after all!

Nothing much else to say except that my exams are 19 days away! My practical exam is probably also around that time. Stress starting to pile up. Maybe I'll cut down the play time to 1/2 hour from next week onwards.

I'm back in my apartment again. But only for one night. Three more weeks till my exams, and I am barely prepared! So, will be going back tonight to start some hardcore studying.

The new batch of recruits will be coming in this week. One huge group, and my batch will be the facilitating batch. Lots of headaches for us, such as accomodation, rooms, equipment and schedules. Although some will be handled by the admin staff, we still need to get them settled down. Worse still, they are not going for the major grilling up north in Lumut, so they barely know each other. Moving on, finished with one instructor, and will be changing over to another instructor. My friends say that "good days are here", because the new instructor is supposedly a nice guy. Actually all of the instructors are nice, but when they are working, they transform into monsters. It is as if the headsets send some neurological signals to their brains and morph them into a recruit-devouring monster. It feels weird to be having lunch with my instructor having a nice chat when I was just getting ripped apart a half hour before.

Gotta run. Don't even have time to play Sims. Shucks.

Okay, it's not my fault that I haven't been blogging much. The problem is that I can't say anything about my job! And I spend 5 days out of 7 at work. So, don't blame me. But, today a little bit of spicy news after 2 weeks.

Went to Zouk with my colleagues yesterday. Was the first time there for me. So quite an eye openner to be at the supposedly most-happening place in town. Actually went to Velvet which was one of the rooms there. Entrance was free, thanks to my staff pass. Muahahaha. Drinks were quite cheap too. Had a couple of beers, which I took down too fast. I ain't that strong no more... Some of my friends brought girls along too! From the same company as me. So, got some quality control. But, I too shy-lah. Haha! And one of the guys got lucky that night. Saw him getting jiggy with it with the girl, who happened to be a colleague's cousin. So, I wonder what is going on now. Time to find out on Monday.

Before going to Zouk, went to the hall concert, which surpringly was quite good. Not exactly surprisingly because NO WAY could it get worse than last year. Music was good, maybe too good for the cast to handle. And it showed. Script was good, about as good as Mersons. I kind of see a trend growing... my year was good, of course, then Insanity was so-so, Mersons was good, Pea-tween was horrible, and this year is okay.

That's all for this week. Hope that there will be more next week...
